Location

Group practice De Alverberg is deliberately discreetly located in a residential house (on the corner) at Alverbergstraat 1 in Hasselt.

Sessions can also be booked as an online meeting.

Sessions can be planned on another location after mutual consultation.

Parking

Parking can usually be found nearby in the street and often right outside the door. You can park freely for 1.5h with a blue parking card between 9am and 7pm from Monday to Saturday.

Facilities

A toilet is available.
There is a waiting room on the ground floor.
Our conversation room is spacious but intimate and comfortable.
We can offer you a coffee and/or fresh water to drink.

Public Transportation

Located 1 km from Hasselt station, our practice is easily accessible by public transport. It takes 10 min to walk and 3 min to get there by (rental) bike.

Professional confidentiality & impartiality

We offer impartial and objective counseling, both in individual and partner therapy.
Our work is based on a confidential relationship with their clients, and we are bound by professional confidentiality. Everything told during conversations falls under this confidentiality clause.
There are some notable exceptions to the preceding rule:
- We may exchange anonymous information about the therapy cases in specific intervision sessions with colleagues, with the explicit intention of gaining better insight in these cases.
- Whenever we perceive a legitimate concern that you pose a danger to yourself or those around you, we fall back on our civic duty and professional secrecy may be lifted.
We keep a concise (paper) file on your trajectory, which you are free to consult at any time.
